Product Overview
The SensePass S8 is a high-performance face recognition access control terminal launched by SenseTime, featuring modular expandability. It adopts an 8-inch high-definition large screen, IP66 dustproof and waterproof rating, and operates reliably in a wide temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. Powered by SenseTime's latest deep learning algorithms, it delivers a recognition speed of just 0.2 seconds with an accuracy rate of up to 99.9%. It supports binocular liveness detection, effectively preventing spoofing attacks using photos, videos, and other fake faces. Locally storing up to 50,000 faces, it supports offline recognition and continues to operate normally even when disconnected from the network. Communication is supported via 10/100Mbps Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth Low Energy, along with OTA remote upgrade capability. The product's standout feature is its support for modular expansion—functional modules such as ID card reader, temperature measurement, and QR code scanner can be installed on-site via plug-and-play, allowing flexible configuration on demand. It supports feature dispatch and privacy data desensitization protection, and can be installed via wall-mount, pole-mount, or turnstile integration, making it widely applicable to parks, office buildings, schools, construction sites, and other scenarios.
