    The inspection of overhead contact line (OCL) suspension systems in electrified railways is a critical aspect of railway operation and maintenance. Traditional manual methods, which rely on fault diagnosis of components in 4C images, suffer from low efficiency and high error rates, creating an urgent need for new technologies to enhance overall inspection performance.
  • Cooperation Plan

    The two parties collaborated to develop 4C intelligent analysis products, which have been deployed across all railway bureaus nationwide. China Railway (CR) was responsible for providing massive datasets, business logic support, establishing professional review teams, and nationwide sales promotion. SenseTime undertook the development of high-precision AI algorithms, the creation of 4C intelligent analysis products, and equipment supply, while cooperating with CR on local business implementation.
  • Implementation results

    The 4C intelligent analysis system has been nationally deployed and tested with outstanding results, earning recognition from China State Railway Group. It is now undergoing full-scale commercial rollout.

    Key achievements to date:

    • Analyzed over 20 high-speed rail lines (totaling 20,000 km) and 790 million components;

    • Detected and iteratively improved 110,000 defects;

    • Enhanced algorithms through 5.7 million feedback iterations.

    Performance metrics demonstrate remarkable efficiency gains:

    • System analysis speed: 50 km per person per day,

    • Manual inspection speed: 2.5 km per person per day,

    • 20x productivity improvement over conventional methods.
